Sishu Mandarin, a leading Chinese language school in NYC, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media Ambassador. As a Social Media Ambassador, you will play a vital role in promoting our brand and engaging with our target audience through various social media platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, communication skills, and passion for Chinese language education.

Responsibilities

  • Work type: Volunteer (non-paid)

  • Hours per month: 4 hours

  • Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Sishu Mandarin's brand identity and marketing goals.

  • Content Creation: Create engaging and visually appealing content (text, images, and videos) for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, to promote Sishu Mandarin's programs, events, and achievements.

  • Influencer Collaboration: Identify and establish partnerships with influencers, bloggers, and online communities in the language learning and education space to expand Sishu Mandarin's reach and brand awareness.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, news, and innovations in social media, digital marketing, and the Chinese language education industry. Identify opportunities to leverage emerging platforms or strategies to enhance Sishu Mandarin's online presence.

    Qualifications:

    1. Has 500+ followers on any of the following social media platforms: Instagram/Facebook/Youtube/TikTok/Twitter

    2. Language Proficiency: Exceptional writing skills in English with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

    3. Social Media Savvy: Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms (Tiktok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) for a brand, organization, or personal account. Familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics, and management tools.

    4. Creativity and Visual Aesthetics: Ability to create compelling content and visually appealing designs using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie).

    5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively engage with a diverse online community and represent Sishu Mandarin professionally and diplomatically.

    6. Cultural Awareness: Knowledge and appreciation of Chinese culture, traditions, and language learning nuances. Understanding of the target audience's preferences and interests.

    7. Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

    8. Passion for Education: Genuine enthusiasm for language learning, education, and promoting the benefits of learning Mandarin Chinese.
