This is a language-learning community for anyone who is interested in learning Mandarin Chinese. Most of the classes hosted are for beginners but all levels of learners are welcome!

We do host intermediate and higher-level Chinese classes from time to time to join our group and stay tuned. We usually meet virtually and sometimes host in-person classes at either our Fidi or LIC location.

Do You Have Higher Level Conversation Chinese Classes?

Yes, but only occasionally. We had some intense and interesting discussion sessions for advanced learners. The most recent one we did was about China and globalization.

How Many Free Chinese Classes Have You Hosted?

We have hosted more than 150+ language learning events in New York and virtually in the past 5 years.

Are All Your Language Events Hosted at Your Locations?

Yes, but we’re planning to host more cultural events in the future. Maybe a trip to a museum or a local New York Chinese restaurant.

Why Do You Offer Free Chinese Classes to New Yorkers?

Teaching is about passion. We love what we do and we want to give back to the community. It is always a great joy to hear how our students loved our free classes. Many of them kept coming back and brought their friends with them. In the end, learning is all about sharing.

Do You Offer Free Online Chinese Classes?

Yes, we do. We have hosted beginner and intermediate Chinese classes using Zoom as our instruction platform. Check out more of our online class information here.

Do You Welcome Volunteers?

Yes. We need all kinds of help, such as graphic design, marketing, and event organization.
